to linger a little longer than usual.Though technically
now some 2-3 weeks into SPRING; the last week
saw some still heavy rains and windy days prevailing.
Even today (sept.21)-a very mild day, slightly cool
(update=light showers whilst i type…).
Admittedly, when the SUN was/is out…
it is SHINY.

(firstly decide… IF your goal/routine is to put on weight
prior/during WINTER so bodily fat% will be used
to extract energy over the WINTER…
IGNORE the following… SIMPLY
EAT LOTS… GET COLD… SHIVER… LOSE WEIGHT
THRU FAT BURNING PER NORM ETC)
However… if you wish to maintain your weight
or even lessen it… eat COLD DINNERS.
METABOLISM is increased due to the fact that your
stomach WARMS UP THE FOOD (slightly)…
so as to ease digestion and energy extraction…
using MORE calories to do so than per norm/warm food…
Either way will work, though increasing METABOLISM even
further with some very simple dietary additions will

Whilst training, the extra clothes can be too much warmth.

When WINTER Mountain climbing/trekking etc

when intense activity training…
the extra heat generated will soon have you peeling them off…
which can be problematical in itself…

cos in WINTER JAPAN…COTTON GI just don’t
longjohns too warm…
( and you can take them off practically anywhere
raising eyebrows or the local constabulary…

TWO HANDS BETTER THAN ONE.
Another somewhat underestimated SURVIVAL TIP is
In so many ways this ‘ single ‘ factor
more than doubles WINTER survival chances…
in fact any SEASON.
The ability to use two+ weapons,… either hand
to defend and/or counter strike,…
instant replacement if one hand hurt,…
can protect an innocent with one and
tko attacker with other,…
one hand free one hand weapon…
etc etc etc…

and as a concept applied elsewhere… increase warmth
through use of both/all limbs equally
and at same time etc… inc. energy usage as a weight
loss exercise inclusion…
during such… get tired?…
just change sides for a bit…
